I'm Todd and I realized last week that I always had mild acne (I constantly had 1-4 zits) because of an acid diet. It was hard to find out, but as soon as I found out meat gave me zits, I knew :D.

I'm planning on going raw as soon as possible (I first wanted to get alkaline by eating cooked carrots, cucumber, fruits, but now I've decided to take it really seriously and go 100% raw). Sadly I still have some frozen carrots, so that will be the last thing I don't eat raw.

The bad news though : at home, I eat what my parents cook for lunch. They'd get mad if I didn't eat what they make. That's why I'll never be able to go 100% raw, but I'll try to find a way.

Welcome to the forum, Korion.

Lemons are very alkalizing. Drink lots of water, and squeeze lemon in it regularly.

It is tough when you aren't responsible for your own food, but if you are able to control two meals, that is a huge step. Once you learn some recipes, perhaps you could offer to make lunch for everyone 2-3 times a week, and make some raw recipes that are friendly to SAD eaters. That way they haven't already prepared something that you aren't eating.

Thanks, I eat tons of lemons during the weekend, had to go to the mall myself to get more of them. Just so I keep a clear skin.

Great idea to make raw food for everyone, but I think only my mother would eat it. Unless I can make it taste good. Well, I'm here to learn, so I'll do what I can :D. I'm excited though ^^.
