Watched the movie "tapped" a week ago and have been haunted ever since. The whole water thing is so confusing to me.Reverse osmosis, distilled, spring, tap, well, chemicals, toxins ,Pet,Pete, plastic, glass ectect.
I live salp dab in the middle of a pretty busy (wanna be) city. Each home in my neighborhood has its own well(theres maybe 15 of us).Its a dead end road were two streets meet.Anyways we are not considered city, yet everything around our two streets is.They are all ran on tap.
Ive heard that if your well is not capped it is just as bad as drinking tapped water becasue the neighboring stuff can seep into your system. We are trying to find out if it is or not,or if it even matters.
After watching movie though. Simple nieve me,was sold on the whole tap water is bad for us.They are using up all our water and selling it back to us.I have been buying Deerpark spring water for almost a year now, thinking I was doing the right thing. I knew plastic wasnt ideal, but untill I watched this I diddnt know just how bad it was,not just for me but the ppl impacted who have to be subjected to the productions of such products :(

Lately I have been drinking my own water, but its so lodged in my head that I need a filter or something that I always second guess how safe it is for me and end up just not drinking anything.
But having said this,Locally a year or so ago,I remeber when a few schools and goverment offices were closed because after drinking water in these places many fell ill.Same time all of PetSmarts fish died because of something in the water.Have also read several reports where ppl flush thier medications and others are having adverse effects, specially say in apartment type living.

Read that putting a ceramic filter under sink is the way to go and needs minimal upkeep wile delivering the most protection.Im not sure of anything really, thinking now my own water is just as safe as anything Im gonna get anywhere else,so I might as well drink it and get over the issue an make sure to never give them @#$% another dollar!!

Would love to hear anyones thoughts, advice,or experience's on this.!!

We're on our second reverse osmosis system. We've been drinking/using RO water since the early 80s, so quite some time.

My MD did recommend that we add these (or similar) drops (http://www.amazon.com/Trace-Minerals-ConcenTrace-Mineral-Drops/dp/B003C6BMKQ/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1300152938&sr=8-2)into our drinking water because RO removes the good along with the bad. I can honestly say that these drops do improve the taste of our water. I don't buy them through Amazon, I just linked it there to show what they are. *Ü*

DebB,

Where do you prefer to buy the drops?

DebB,

Where do you prefer to buy the drops?

I usually order them from iHerb, but their site was down when I went to link. I just checked and it's still down.

Now I see that Azure Standard (http://www.azurestandard.com/shop/product/2771/)carries them too - so I'd order wherever it's less expensive. They're $15.75 for 8 oz here... *Ü*
