Hey guys,
I need your best tips on allowing my body to better acclimate to all of the fiber in the fruits/veggies and such... because when I eat, I get some bad bloating and lots of discomfort...
I'm leaning towards putting all of my fruits into green smoothies for a while and allowing my body to do more healing so it will be better able to deal with the fiber.
Any tips, help?

I adjusted to the hike in fibre within a few days; bloating and cramps ceased. Watch out for your combos too. I can't mix melon or pineapple with other fruits.

I think that it is probably your food combining that is causing the problem.
Try drinking more juice and see whether that makes a difference. But I also think you're probably doing some wrong combinations, if it happens when you eat.

food combining really helped me, and digestive enzymes <-- seriously they make a world of difference, a lot of people think that their digestive systems don't do well with vegetables when they start eating a lot of them, but it's my experience that a lack of enzymes is what causes the bloating, etc.
good luck!

Thanks guys. I will cut back on the nuts and try and keep things more simple.. with mono style eating to see if that helps :)

If you do not mono for an entire meal then mono within it. Eat all of one thing before you go on to the next (they layer in your tummy) and eat the thing with the fastest transit time first.

Enzymes my friend, you need enzymes. I did an experiment where I fasted for 7 days on water and then had a feast of chinese food supplimenting with enzymes. No bloating, no pain, no indigestion...NOTHING! it's like i hadn't even fasted and the chinese was raw fruits :D . Now of course I don't suggest you do this because I took alot of enzymes as my experiement was extreme, but it proved my point. Even on raw food diets you may not get enough enzymes. Especially for all the cellulose from the raw plant fiber. A good enzyme supp should have the enzyme Cellulase to break down the plant fibers which will end your digestive distress.
In order to make sure the enzymes are ACTIVE and ALIVE u may want to try the jello test or the rice test as outlined in Viktorus Kulvinskas's book Survival in the 21st century. Make some white rice (cooked), then blend it with water to make a kind of "mush" or "stew". Separate it into 2 portions. Empty 2-3 caps of enzymes into one of the portions and mix it up and let it sit for about 2-4 hours. The enzymes, if active, will break down the starch of the rice and should make one portion slightly "sweet" like bread.
Or make some jello and separate it into 2 portions. When you're about to refrigerate it put a few caps into one of the portions. The enzymes should prevent the jello from solidifying.
Best of luck
