Where can I find already-ripe avocados in the Lower Mainland?

Hello raw friends in Vancouver..........

Do any of you know a place where already-ripe avocados are sold.....? And is there any way quicker to ripen them than the banana and paper bag trick?

I rarely find them ripe. Have you thought about overlapping them? I buy avos and bananas twice a week and always have ripe ones. Kitsilano Health Foods on Broadway or T&T downtown have good avos at a decent price.

YES. Overlapping. What a great idea lol. Thanks Mcster:heart, I didn't even think of that. I'm just used to buying produce and consuming right away...so I'm going to start doing that.
