hello from SC!

Just a quick intro (should be going to bed:)

I'm Lisa from SC. I'm gonna be 50 this year and due to some unforeseen blood pressure issues, I've decided to really clean up my life! That was the catalyst, anyway. I've been raw only since 2/23/11 but am loving it! I never thought I'd consider eating nuts "cheating"!!

I've got many pounds to lose, some health issues to correct and an amazing life to live with 7 kids and soon to be 4 granddaughters.

Welcome. Yes life is good if you are healthy enough to get the most from it and you are heading down the right road.
I hear you on the naughty nuts. So ironic that we can look at somebody eating what they think is a very healthy meal and think "how wrong are they".

Blood pressure and weight were my number one reasons for going raw,was blessed to find this forum in my random raw googles.
Raw has changed/saved/renewed my life.Your at the right place such nice ppl here, great advice ,also a wealth of info at your fingertips. Enjoy the ride :)

There are two midwife Lisas' in SC, Raisingplenty. Who knows which Lisa assisted your friends? We've both assisted women all over this state. The other Lisa lives in the upstate, I'm in the midlands since 2001.
