Just wondering if anyone can recommend (or not) one of those chips you put on your cell phones to absorb the radiation and heat? My hubby carries his phone on his all the time and I'm worried about what that might be doing to him.

I also heard you should put these chips on your tvs, computers, one site even said your car, vacuum, and hair dryer! Would love to know what you all think of all of this and how much you invest in this particular technology?

Thx so much!

My understanding is, the cell phones are only dangerous when transmitting.

I've got a BioPro chip someone gave me for my cell. Whether it does any good, I dunno.

I use one as well but who knows if it does any good. Well it can not do any harm and may help.
I think that the best rout is to use your phone as little as possible. I only use mine when I am away from the house and as soon as I get home I turn it off.

I put mine on speaker and hold it away from the head...

I finally got my very first cellphone a year ago, and I do notice that when I'm using it (always with my right ear, I've noticed), the longer I'm on it, the warmer the side of my head and ear get. This freaks me out a little, and I don't like it. I'll try not to use it too much, and limit the amount of time using it.

So, nothing really helpful to say, but just my observations of cellphone usage. Maybe texting really is the best way to go!

I had never heard of this before. After googling their website, my first response was to laugh out loud.

Sorry, but a device like that isn't going to stop electromagnetic fields.

90% of me says that you are correct but the other 10% says that if there is any chance at all then I will get it.

That's just the thing.... there isn't a chance. Wave radiation isn't going to be stopped by sticking a little thing on the side of your phone. If you want a method that works, make a shield out of copper foil, and put it between you and your phone. You'll look like a complete nutcase, and you'll probably scramble the signal, but at least it will work. It doesn't matter anyway. There are so many electronic frequencies, even if you stopped one, you only reduce your radiation exposure by less than 1%

They are putting up cell towers everywhere nowadays. It's not like you can escape them. Unless you walk around wearing a cap made of gold foil, you are going to get blasted.

It is like every other thing in life. There is very little that us mere mortals can do to protect ourselves.
I will not have wireless internet in my house or wire free phones and I only turn my cell phone on when I am out of the house.
I sleep on a wire free mattress (rubber) and I have that protective sheating on all internal wiring.
I feel that I can do no more other than throw away my cell phone and that action could kill me a lot faster than keeping it if I can not get help in an emergency.

No. There are no good websites on this topic. Websites are either run by complete conspiracy nuts who say you should live underground, or deniers who say you can live right under a cell tower without suffering any health effects (hah!).

Nobody is interested in the real truth to how this stuff affects the body.
