I stumbled across this forum in my search for a recipe and was so happy to find you all!

My name is Lani and I'm in northern NJ. I am just starting with raw.

My boss is 100% raw, and his assistant is high raw so I've had some exposure to raw for a while. I got inspired after my co-worker who was recently diagnosed with diabetes was able to significantly lower her blood sugar with a 100% raw diet. I have been looking for a way to eat healthier and also lose some weight and I thought it would be great if I could support her with ideas for new foods she could make to help her along while a the same time getting healthy myself.

I also have two Cavalier King Charles Spaniel dogs - I'm very involved in a forum of other Cavalier owners and it was such a help for me when my first was a puppy as I got great advice from others who'd been through the same issues I was having.

I'm really looking forward to benefiting from the wealth of knowledge that is on this forum and I'm hoping that logging in every day will help inspire me with delicious raw meals I can make to keep it interesting. :tea:

Hi! Welcome to the forum! It's so cool that your coworkers are participating in rawness! There's so much information and support here, and there's even a pet section if you're interested in raw-related stuff for your dogs!

Hey, this is my 100th post! Yippeeeee!

Congrats on the 100th Post!! :cheer:

I saw the pet section!!! That is really cool. My dogs actually have been on frozen raw and were doing great on it. They have chronic tummy issues and raw is the only thing that has ever worked for them.

That's part of what also convinced me to give raw a try for myself. I mean, the same benefits of raw apply for people as dogs, but it's so much easier to take good care of our animals, and I have oftentimes pondered how I took better care of them than I did myself.

Thank you for the welcomes :throwhearts:
