Anyone else notice how awesome these two practices combine? I have been doing yoga for about 7 years now and on its own it is great, but in combination with the raw food diet is has taken be to a whole other level. It is like they feed on each other. The raw foods help keep the mind clear and provide optimum nutrition to the body, and yoga squeezes, lengthens and strengthens the body and mind.
Anyone else here have a yoga practice they absolutely love? Do you have a favorite pose? Do you find yourself doing yoga randomly during the day? I find myself doing all kinds of bends and poses throughout the day, it's great.

I completely agree! I am new to Yoga but started doing it at the same time when I went 100% raw. I LOVE IT! Early in the morning before starting your day works best for me:dance:. I really enjoy Kundalini Yoga and find myself doing poses throughout the day. :throwhearts:

I just started doing yoga and I love it! I tried it a long time ago but didn't like it much, it hurt and I wasn't very graceful. But now that I've been raw for awhile now, I tried it again and i'm absolutely in love.
I have been doing it in the mornings (just like Kalemama) and it's amazing to see how elongating and stretching really helps shape the day I will have. I was walking around in a tense daze for so long.

No doubt. Yoga in the morning fits so well and, like you said BlackKat, helps shape the day in a positive manner. Love that you guys enjoy yoga. I love how yoga is so applicable to a wide spectrum of people. There's a yoga practice for everyone it seems =]

I love beeing Raw and I love Bikram Yoga .... Life is so good !!!! Love it!!!!:throwhearts:

Love Bikram with raw! But yeah, TOTALLY, it's a perfect combo!!! We have it EVERY DAY at the raw vegan B&B+ b/c it seems there are so many raw foodies (and vegans for that matter) who get into it. It's just sooo amazing to be able to practice with a clear mind and light body!:heart
