What do you think? fats with fruit...yes or no? Does food combining really matter when you are raw? Or is it better to slow the blood sugar/insulin response of fruit with some fats? I would love to hear your thoughts because I have been contemplating this a lot lately.

Depends, if it's a lot of fat and a little fruit then combining matters, if it's the other way around, not too much probably. Anyway you can always check, if mixing them doesn't work, simply eat first the fruit then right after it eat the fat.

From what I have read about food combining, you should always eat fruit either first thing in the morning or on an empty stomach. Fruit digest so much faster then other things like fats, that if you eat fat first then fruit the fruit will ferment in your stomach, not good for healthy digestion.

From what I understand the only thing you can combine with fruit is veggies and be okay.

does it matter to your digestion? that's the real question. some people need to follow it to feel good. others, it doesn't seem to bother at all.

so why not see if it bothers YOU. cause that's what really counts... this is your experience.

Thanks Aleesha, I do go by how my body feels. I am just curious as to whether something could be going on in the body that I can't feel or see.

then give food combining a try and see if you find a difference.

cause someone who is in touch with their body will know if they need to combine. and you seem to me to be someone very in touch with her body.
