Im interested in taking in more salt as I dont think I get enough, from what Ive read, either of these 2 salts seem to be excellent for health. Anyone got any experiences/reccomendations on which to get?

juice celery! that's 'organic sodium' your body uses it completely.

otherwise, himalayan is supposed to be better from what i've read.

personally i juice celery, use kelp powder or dulse powder (both salty) and a mixture of smoked sea salts - and himalayan. i have a huge variety of salts in my kitchen. i love to use them in my tomato juices.

Plant are the best, celery as mentioned and sea weed.

If you have to pick between the two, himalayan has been known as a better choice.

I'm not too into salt lately, but I much prefer the Himalayan personally. :) Both are great options for when you use salt!

I realize I am in the minority, but I like Celtic Sea Salt better. One reason is because of the higher mineral content.

Aleesha - any chance you have pics of the inside of your cupboards? :)

I use Himilayan, but I haven't been using any lately. I guess both are good if that is the taste you like. Trader Joe's sells some that you have to grind for a cheap price as opposed to WHole FOods where it is like $10 a jar.

I use himalayan but I didn't know it was better, good to know that. I also have whole foods brand, I mix it with himalayan for my body scrub.

Your'e not in the minority. Though I use and love both, I found that Celtic is good for more substantial dishes, like marinated greens or other bulky foods and Himalayan for more delicate. They both taste great and I keep both on hand as I stated in my previous post. It doesn't have to be one or the other in this case. Both are good.
