raw diet and medication

hi everybody, Im from Argentina and I was reading Dr. Cousens book about Diabetes.
I would like to follow the advices given in this book, I have Diabetes II which is controlled with medications.
The question is: Is allowed to give up of medications when the program of 21 days is started???

Perhaps you can inform your doctor of your plan and get your numbers checked weekly so your med dosages can be adjusted as you heal. Best of luck.
