I'm not sure where to put this, but my mother sent me Alissa's "Raw Food for Everyone" for my birthday which I received yesterday (which also happened to be my birthday).
I am so excited to try these recipes and they look so good! I don't even know where to begin first.

Happy Belated!!!:throwhearts:
I haven't bought mine yet, not sure if I'm that advanced (I'm definitely not that advanced) so I purchased the idiots guide to raw eating.
Let me know how it is, it's on my list of things to buy.

Happy BirthMONTH Lainey! :fruitline:
Alissa's books are wonderful! You don't have to be advanced, she will teach you as you go along. There is a thread on here somewhere that you should check out. I don't remember all of the thread title but it ended with NOT Julia/Julie or something like that. This fabulous lady named Annie committed to making all of the recipes in Living On Live Foods and she posted all about as she went along. She said that following Alissa's book made her much more confident in her Raw kitchen abilities. Just have fun!
If I find that thread I'll post it here for you.
Found it! CLICK HERE (http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/showthread.php?t=54209&highlight=Annie+Alissa) for the thread. The title is Annie and Alissa...NOT Julie and Julia so you can search yourself if this link goes sour.
