Hey guys!
Thought I'd share with you the best green smoothie I've made yet!
Here's the recipe:
About half of a pineapple
one stalk of celery
a small chunk of root ginger, peeled (About a tsp maybe)
A wedge of lemon (you could probably keep the peel on but I took mine of because it had hardened up a bit)
About 50g of spinach (I used frozen so it's hard to gauge the amount)
Some water at the bottom to help it wizz up
Blend until smooth and there it is! I put some blueberries on top which taste really good with it :D And I was thinking, I'm sure someone said you're meant to have a bit of fats in your smoothie to help you absorb the fat soluble vitamins, so you could chuck in a tbs of coconut oil or half an avocado if you like!
This probably serves two but I'm greedy so I had it all haha.
I hope you like it!
