Hi all....just officially joined the site but have been stalking for awhile. Yesterday, I got my Excaliber and made Kale Chips today. They are way too salty. I hate to throw away 5 shelves of chips and am wondering what I might do to "save" them. I did find that there is such a thing as Kale Powder. Wondering if I can powder the chips and use them to season other stuff. Anybody ever tried this?

Thanks so much -- all of you are such an inspiration to me on my journey to eat healthier.

I sometimes do that with the bottom of the bag crumbs....use them as salad seasoning.

I've also powdered dried kale (unseasoned) for smoothies when fresh was not available.

I like the powder idea. It'll be your own home-made seasoning. :3

Shredd them in a salad
Or blend with soaked flax seeds and other assorted veggies and male crackers in your new dehydrator:eat

thanks all.....i did powder the too salty kale and i have already found two ways to use it. I mixed the powder with lime juice, vinegar, olive oil and honey for my salad dressing. So YUMMY. I also mix with my vegi burger mix (they are in the D now). And, I still have powder left over in the fridge.

What good ideas! I'll have to remember that if I end up with a bad batch of kale chips! :)
