Me!!!! I really need this, I have been trying to find a happy medium between raw and not so raw and it's not working out so well (even though I know it wouldn't work), so my body is screaming for 100%, I'm full of junk and feel like junk, now it's time to eat fresh and feel fresh!
So I AM IN! :cheer:

I haven't done raw in along time. I really want to get back to it. Right now, I'm going through a period where meat is turning me off and I have no appetite in the evening after work, so this may be the right time to get back to raw. Tonight since I wasn't hungry I made an almond milk, strawberry, banana, and mango smoothie. It was just the thing I wanted and I'm enjoying my second glass right now.
Kisses! :kisses:
me! saw the thread title and thought why not. In the past I would try raw as a way to loose weight which made me sabotage and run to junk food. This time I see it as a challenge and my weight has nothing to do with it.

Morning Rawbies!!!!! (I'm copying this from the Feb thread....)
I'm in not so hot California!!!!! It's actually colder here than TX!!!! Burrrr!!!!!
I'm visiting my Aunt who loved everything I brought....especially Alissa's Flax Crackers and Slider Burgers!!!!! Everyone loved the Chocolate Truffles, too!!!! I love introducing Raw to people open to trying it!!!!
I'm gonna make some Pate for everyone later and possibly Raw Fajitas, since they are so easy to make! In anticipation of my visit, my Aunt bought a food processor!!!!!!! Cool, huh!!!! She also has a Blender, so we can make Smoothies!!!! My Uncle loved the Crackers, but is reluctant to try the Burgers!!!! LOL!!!! Oh, I'm not worried...before I leave he'll be won over!!!!
Cool Sprouts Monk!!!! Yea, if I'm not posting, I'm usually flying or with my homeschool group...
Have a Rawsome Day everyone!!!!
Hugs,
Nee
Hello again sweet bunch :kisses: Really, I can't wait for March to begin :cheer: Let me tell you a little about myself: I used to be 100% raw for several months, lost a lot of weight, about 100lbs in under a year, then unfortunately moved to live abroad as I got married in a land where vegans are a handful and raw vegans cannot be found (well, at least I couldn't find any), so it's definitely a challenge to stay 100% raw as it's impossible to find many of the products I loved while rawfooding. I have been trying to go back to raw but one day I am raw, the other day I am back to just being vegan, it's really not easy for me to stay focused so like I said, I really need a support group to keep me accountable so thanks for having me:heart:

I've been about 80% Raw for some time, dipping here and there to 100%, plus I've also been part of another online support group that hosts a monthly 7 to 14 day Raw/Juice challenge which I enjoy but now I'd like to participate in a 30 day Raw Challenge due to health issues.
I would like to join up for a March 30 Day Raw Food Challenge with Raw Food Talk. Let me know if there is anything in particular I have to do. I am happy to be back with Raw Food Talk once again.

I'm new to the forum but I'm looking forward to the March challenge. I guess you could say that I have been 80% raw but my goal is 100% just because I feel so much better. Before I found this thread, I started a Facebook page called March Madness- 31 Day Raw Food Challenge hoping others would join me but so far I only have 5 people who have liked the page. If you want to check it out :

Today I'll have my usual
Breakfast: GS with spinach, kale, banana, dates, frozen strawberries, and Rejuvelac.
Lunch: Raw muesli: oatmeal soaking in raw almond milk, cinnamon, dried cherries, soaked chopped walnuts, almonds and a banana that I take with me and add when I am about to eat it. The muesli is easy to make just soak 1 cup of oatmeal groats to 1 cup of raw almond milk then add whatever dried fruit or nuts you want and soak in the fridge overnight. It's a great filling lunch and you just have to grab it from the fridge in the morning before going to work.
Dinner: a salad of mixed greens, spinach and watermelon cubed with a tamari -ginger dressing. Dessert is a raw pudding made with 2 avocados, 1/4 cup of cacao, 1/4 raw almond milk, agave nectar to desired sweetness, dash of cinnamon and vanilla. Blend it all up in the food processor.
Have a great raw day everyone!

My husband and I will be starting March off with a mini 3 day juice feast, but we will need to incorporate some soup for dinner since it takes a ton of time to juice for the both of us. Can't wait to start! I guess my March 1st "smoothie" will be a shot of wheat grass (which is definitely not my favorite). Here's a picture of our juices for tomorrow.
I think this thread should be locked as it was only for check-in and keeps us confused where to post now that March is here... the actual March thread is called "Mar 2011 - 30 Day Challenge Thread", come over there guys :kisses:

In the mornings I have a green smoothie, for lunch various types of salads, and dinner a piece of fruit or a light green smoothies... I am now getting back into being Raw so I am afraid I can't be much more help but will post here and there unique stuff I put together or find from others.
Sometimes digging through the receipes here and other sites helps. There is also a good book you can download called Raw Foods for busy people.

Day 2 of the challenge, but day 11 of my GS fast. It's going amazingly good. I am eating avocados along with it and okay with that. It works out nice if I don't have a chance to get a smoothie.

I only just learned about raw food and alkalinity and all that, I'm very new, but I'm fascinated :D. I'm gonna start as soon as possible, but I just went to the mall today and bought lots of frozen vegetables (I only decided right now I'm gonna eat raw). Anyways, as I heard cooked spinach isn't the way to go, I already threw 4 bags away (they were quite cheap anyways). So, I'm already gonna start eating raw fruits, but I only have frozen vegetables. I'm in as soon as possible.
