Hi,

I am 36, 5'6", 200 pounds and female. I want and need to go raw. I have no idea how to begin but I know that I can't go 100% at once.

How do I start?

Hi meow. I've spent the last four to five months letting go of meat and dairy and finally cooked foods. I would have lapses that lasted a week, or a day, but I wouldn't worry... I'd get back on that horse. I couldn't do it all at once and that's my personal discovery. After all that time, I'm now 98-100% raw. The 'lapses' do not come and I don't stress if I have a taste of cooked food here or there. That's that 2% ;) It keeps me in line. (I should note that that may not be the case for everyone).

Good luck!

Gather as much information as you can, and apply it to yourself, and see what works for you! Easier said than done, I know, but knowledge really is power! There is so much information here on the forum, and the recipe section will help with figuring out what to eat.

My best advice might be to try to incorporate your favourite living foods as much as you can, such as if you like bananas or salads or mangos, and figure out recipes with foods that you like and eat them a lot. Smoothies are also really, really good for transitioning to raw foods!

Welcome aboard! :throwhearts:
