starting with the morning, what do YOU begin juicing with
& what do finish the day with? fruit in the morning, vegetables
in the evening? a mix of both throughout the day? i know fruit
can be high in sugar so i'm guessing that's kept more to the
early part of the day. trying to find a good combination for
(highly active/moderately active/low activive) individuals.
there are days where i'm flying fast (work/exercise/weights)
& other off days where i'm slow, more relaxed & maybe not
in need of too much of one group of (fruits/veggie juice).
btw, i'm 39 yrs old (165lb) & active. looking to get to &
maintain (160lb). anything you have would be great!
just don't wanna spin my wheels if you know what i
mean. thanks!! look forward to the responses.

Lately, for my morning green juice this is what I've been juicing: 1/2 English hothouse cucumber, about 1/3 bunch celery, 1 thumb sized piece of fresh ginger, half a lemon (rind included), 1/2 bunch cilantro, 1/2 bunch parsley, about 2 cups alfalfa-clover sprouts, then 1/2 bunch of any dark green (dino kale, chard, etc.). Then to sweeten it, 1-2 apples & a couple spears of pineapple. It's my version of Lou Coronoa's "Lemon Ginger Blast".

Sometimes during the day I like to get out my citrus juicer and juice 1 large grapefruit and 2-3 oranges. Ambrosia! *Ü*

I get up at 430 each work day and hit the gym by 445 or so for my workout. When I get home I make a green smoothie with spinach and banana with some mint and then pour grapefruit and pineapple and ginger juice over it. yum.

Then I prepare my juice and smoothies for my work day. Sometimes berries and fruit for the morning and sometimes a green recipe. I make 1.5 to 2 quarts of veggie juice for the afternoon including again, spinach, carrot, celery, cuke, apple. and sometimes adding bokchoy or beet or parsley - whatever i have hanging out in the fridge. I also have a huge salad during the lunch hour and when i get home make some fresh soup or another salad or green smoothie- adding in a few almonds and nuts that pretty much sums up my work day. I have A TON of energy throughout my morning and afternoon and usually start getting sleepy around 8 pm.
