Hello everyone, and Happy Valentines Day!
I've been into health and searching for the optimal life plan for awhile now,
and as I've heard so many good things about the raw food diet, I'm going to try it out!
A little background information:
I am 17 years old, female, 5'5 and 128 lbs, a weight I am fairly happy with.
I have been eating relatively well previous to this;
my staples being organic fruits and vegetables, rice, lentils, rye bread, oatmeal, and black beans. I do not eat any cheese, meat, white breads or preservatives.
I am undertaking this lifestyle to improve general health, and to gain all of the benefits that seem to come with it; beautiful skin and hair and healthly looking body.
I would appreicate any advice; ex. advice as to how to best switch to raw,
your favorite recipes, how to lessen detox symptoms, etc.
Thank you and take care

My best advice would be to get Alissa's book "Living on Live food"......go into this with the knowledge and background you'll need to be successful. Buying this book and her DVD on preparing raw food recipes was the best money I spent in going raw. Good Luck!

Thank you all so very much!
Which are your favorite juices to make?
Can one join the 30 day challenge at any time or only at the first of every month?

Welcome Frida!

Sounds as though you are already on the right track with what you are currently eating.

I don't make too many juices myself so I can't offer any wisdom there, but if you're looking for nut pates then I am your gal, lol.

Seriously, welcome and I am sure you'll do well considering where you're starting from, as someone who eats little to no processed foods already.
