View Full Version : Finally, finally going back high raw a la Alissa!!

I have been struggling for literally years to eat all raw. Many reasons all but gone now, were stopping me and I am finally ready or not to go high or even 100% raw once and for all. I went to the HFS store today and got a bunch of raw food. I blogged here when I went raw the first time but I have a blog now that you are welcome to visit - no sales, no promoting of anything but how I am eating raw food. And I can confess to all the lurking I have done all these years... finding such inspiration and information here. I thank you all and Alissa most of all. She is a really wonderful example of living her truth IMHO.
I shall be re-reading her first book and of course working with many of the recipes - some are such favorites of mine... Indian Spinach Dip comes to mind. grin
Thank you all so much! I know it may not be easy or comfortable for a while, but I am doing it!

I agree - Alissa & her way of doing Raw strongly appeal to me - She Rawks!!! :excited:

Me too-- I keep reading Alissa's books too--I'm so new at the raw world that they have been a tremendous help!!

Yeah its good to keep a chart on your wall like a calender but I prefer to make my own.

mark 30 days and cross each day out you eat 100% raw. If you fail, start the calender again.

I find there is a lot of truth in eating 95% raw and only getting 95% benefits, to eating 100% raw and getting 1000% benefits. Cant beat a guilt-free system.

I am doing smoothies! A smoothie feasting - with nice raw crunchy veggies snacking - because I need to chew. Day one and I am learning already. But, my body is taking a huge breath - it loves 100% raw food so much. :throwhearts:
