I am very excited my food processor broke...and now I get to go out and buy a new and better one!! I have read on here that the Cuisart seems to be the best, is this true? Does anyone have one that they really like and that I shoudl buy? I am going out tomorrow to either Bed, Bath and Beyond or Macy's. Not sure yet, our mall also has a kitchen store. I would love to hear what ya'll think about your food processor!! :woot:

My vote--Cuisinart--for sure. I've had mine for 6 years with great success with daily use.

Which one do you have? I know there are several different ones, so I was just wondering?

I like the best my Philips because the speed is variable. I have the cuisine art now, and i don't find it much better. Except the blade are good quality and will last better.

It's the 'Prep 11 Plus' --11 cups. Love it, worship it.

I did end up buying it yesterday and I used it three times yesterday and I loved it!:woot: I think that I am going to watch the DVD that came with it because I want to use the other tools that came with it. I am not sure how to use the slicing disk and the other one. So I am going to watch it and see what else I can do with it.:woot:

The shreddign disk is great too! We used it when we wanted to make a huge batch of sauerkraut and boy did that go fast! :)

I read quite a few reviews that said the new cuisinarts aren't very well made anymore since they come from China? The old ones were supposedly made in Germany. Anyone using a newer one? Still going well after a year or two?

I have a newer cuisenart (just over 2 years old)and I LOATH it! It is horrible. The motor makes a burning smell and it will not process dates to save its life. Do your self a favor and buy something else. New cuisenarts are worthless. I'm shoping for a commercial one like Waring.

Awesome! I watched the video too--it was very informative about what blade to use and what they do. Your raw food life will change for the better. Now...a dehydrator--that's what I'm lusting for now.
