View Full Version : Rawness in Melbourne, Australia

I have been 100% raw since 1.01.11(excepting clearing up some 'old' food-stock) ... it takes some getting used to, but I am keen on getting the blissful vibrations that this life-style generates! :) Must pick up Szekeley's "Essene Gospels of Peace" again: a marvellous book for seriously raw people! :)
Hey! Awesome way to start the year, huh?! :cheer:
Welcome to the forum. You'll find tons of support here, and super nice folks... a fair amount of them in Australia too it seems!

Also, check out http://www.meetup.com/MelbourneRawfood for our local meetup raw food group, they have some ace events!

Thank you to Eva ... and to the Melbourne Meetup member! I am a member of the Meetup, too, but haven't been to any events yet: but will remedy that soon!!
Yes, it's awesome to be raw ... but it's still early days ... and the cooked food addiction is occasionally rearing its head, but I don't give it any attention! http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x87/recyclinggoddess/6.gif

Oh you're that Walter? Should have realised, there aren't too many Walters in the world. :)
I'm Meghan on meetup, that's my actual name!
You should come to some meetups, the 1000 steps picnic was great (though I didn't eat any of the food, I'm fasting).
There's a raw food retreat in the Otways next, but there'll be plenty more day events in the future, I'm thinking of organising a picnic in the botanical gardens in the next month or so.
Welcome to raw. :heart

Thank you to everyone! I feel blessed being in the company of so many good people! It's almost an irony how the web is building a community, an elective affinity, as Goethe called it ... and notwithstanding the tyranny of physical distance, we are all connected in Spirit! :-)
Blessings to all!!
And Meghan ... what a fabulous newsletter: I downloaded the two issues for this year!!! Thank you!! http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x87/recyclinggoddess/thdance2.gif
