Has anyone ever done a fast of just coconut milk?
If so, what was your success?

I have and it is wonderful - very filling and alkalizing. I did not desire to have another beverage. When I wanted something more, I would whipp it up with some of jelly like meat - I used young coconuts. It was just great - thinking about doing it again.

Hi,
Could you please tell me how do I make the coconut milk up and how do I do the fast?
I would love to go on it and see the wonderful benefits.

Ann

Thanks, sweet lips! How long did you fast on it?
Did you notice anything different after the fast?

Ann,

You buy young Thai coconuts and drink the water (some people call it coconut milk, though it is actually coconut water).

There is a wealth of information on it here:

... and how to open them, including pictures, here (although I don't open mine this way):

I don't know where you live, but you can buy them in Asian markets if there are any in your city.

Enjoy!!

7 days - I was in the midst of a 30 day fast when I did it - I think it satisfied my desires for something sweet and helped with the metallic taste in my mouth.

Sweet Lips, how much of the coconut milk did you drink a day?

This sounds like a great idea with all those electrlytes , minerals..

Also for healing candida.

I have a question, in the movie Cast Away, Tom Hanks was eating only coconut water for a while and said they were a natural diuretic.

I wonder if that's true..

(I don't believe everything I hear in the movies) lol .. just curious

There's a lot of things said in movies that I wish were true, though!! :D

I don't make the best use out of young coconuts. I find myself drinking the water out of them and tossing them. Sometimes, I just don't feel like messing with them. I have a mulch pile full of young coconut shells, lol.
