I am new to the forum. I am going to start my raw food diet right away. I just found out yesterday that I have uterine cancer and want to become as healthy as I possibly can. I don't know what stage I am at and won't know until I have my hysterectomy done so I want to start now. This news came as a shock as I am only 36 yrs old and most women who get uterine cancer are between the ages of 60-70 yrs of age. I would be willing to take anyones advise as I am in a state of desperation right now. Any info on recipes, ebooks, or other websites would be very helpful.
Thank you in advanced for your help!

Oh no but OH YEA! MANY many many many of us came to raw in the state of desperation, and found it was JUST what we needed to heal our bodies. You will find TREMENDOUS support here on RFT!! If you just poke through the forum, you will find quite a lot of recipes.
If I may... I have quite a lot of info on uncooking101.com (http://uncooking101.com) and have a free newsletter with lots of inspiration (you just sign up at the top of any page). I also teach Alissa Cohen's classes in Florida when I am there or can arrange other ways. OR if you look to the left side of the screen, it says "Find an Alissa Cohen certified teacher..." If you click on that, you will find someone super close to you who can teach you how to jump right in, in person.
You are going to get through this! And as soon as you do, you can be an inspiration to the people around you my friend! It is BETTER that this happened so that you can use it to help others. :heart
OH! And GREEN SMOOTHIES (http://uncooking101.com/site/basic-green-smoothie-recipe/) are AMAZING for healing! There's a recipe there for you and some info that I think could be super helpful to you. :)

I will definitely start drinking these as soon as I get a blender haha. We had one but the dish washer melted it. I am most likely going to need to get a few appliances to do what I need. For now I have been eating a lot of celery, spinach, hummus, fruit, and sprouted bread. I am sure with time I will be a pro ;).

Hi, I just joined the forum as well...I am so sorry to hear about your health challenges...it can be very difficult, but it can also be a blessing...an opportunity for transformation on all levels. I happen to be reading a book called, Women's Bodies, Women's Wisdom, by Christaine Northrup, M.D.- Every woman should read this book! Dr. Northrup may not be 100% raw fooder, but she is an advocate of eating a healthy, whole foods diet. She has brought the wisdom of ancient healing into Western medicine field, especially pertaining to women's health. She very clearly talks about the fact that many physical diseases & conditions have emotional roots or components that need to be healed on a mental, emotional & spiritual level in order for the physical body to heal. Your body is basically telling you that you need deep healing on an energetic level. You can think of the cancer as a messenger that you need to pay attention to! You are so on the right tract with changing your diet! and whether you need to get a hysterectomy to save your life, you have an great opportunity to start on the road to health and discover a greater truth about yourself.
Many, many blessings on your journey to perfect health.

Blessings to you on your journey to perfect health!! I have some books by Dr Hulda Clark (who has totally removed cancers in 1000s of people) ... I can email you the link to my Dropbox, if you want to read her books in PDF-format ...
If I may suggest ... do not 'fight' the dis-ease ... love your body and all its cells, be cheerful and positive (think of Norman Cousins, who cured his cancer by laughter ...) ... and put living raw foods into your body.http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x87/recyclinggoddess/icon_hungry.gif
We are eternal beings, and living foods allow your body to go into detoxing ... I would also bring some of Dr Clark's modalities into play ... and cast fear aside... on the journey to perfect health (and bliss) you will come to see that there are only two forces in the universe: Love and fear ... when a person is with fear, they are away from love. Have peace, and surrender to the great healer inside!
Many blessings your way, and a healing transformation!! http://i182.photobucket.com/albums/x87/recyclinggoddess/6.gif
