The shame...the guilt!!!!
I put my newlywed Rejuvelac in the frig a few days ago (I made another batch)... I put some in a pitcher... Well, my kids thought is was water and tried some and hated it... Hubby wouldn't even try it cuz he smelled it (anyone who has smelled it, knows what I mean......)
Anyway, I asked who wanted Smoothies because I was making some and everyone wanted one... Don't ask me WHY I did this, but I put in Spinach, papaya, strawberries, bananas, and.........I poured in Rejuvelac!!!!!!! I did!!!!
And, they LOVED it!!!! They said it was the best Smoothie I ever made!!!!! Then they added, "I'm just glad you didn't make us drink that Rejuvelac stuff!!!"
So.....should I tell them I used the Rejuvelac they all hated? I feel a little guilty..... Maybe I shouldn't say anything unless they ask???? What do you think? Leave well enough alone?

Hahahaha I do this to my daughter ALLLLL the time!! Usually I don't tell her until after she's consumed it for a few months and I'm certain she likes it..then I drop the news on her. She swears up and down that she doesn't like avocados...I've yet to mention that it's in her chocolate pudding. ;)

I would have to agree! Anything that we can get our kids to eat that is good for them without them knowing can be kept secret until they are adults!! :dread: When I cook for my husband and kids I also add veggies into their foods that they never know about!
way to go Renee!!:cheer:

NONONO! Don't tell them!
I sneak SO MANY things into my son's smoothies without telling him, he probably wouldn't drink them if he knew!
I will tell him when he's a bit older though. Right now it's simply getting good foods into him that matters. :eat

I thought 'Newlywed' rejuvelac was just another one of those 'amazing' new things you guys in America have that we Aussie's are too behind to have heard about yet!
