cucumber squash fig leaves edible?

I read VB's Green Smoothie Revolution and she includes cucumber leaves and squash leaves and fig leaves among the edible greens. Anyone ever tried any of these three leaves?

Haven't tried the greens, but have eaten the flowers from squash. they were very good

Fig leaves have been used for years in dolmas. (sp?) I've eaten them directly from the vine. Don't like squash flowers and have not tried the leaves.
