I find that I much prefer juicing to making smoothies. I always make my smoothies too thick, and if I water them down, they just seem bland. Anyways, I tend to always make the same juice in the morning. Lettuce, celery, kale, lemon, ginger, apple. I quite enjoy it, but am thinking about switching it up a little bit...what is your favorite juice?

My favorite..... yam, apple, orange. I like to use a large yam and as much orange as yam. So if they're small oranges I'll use two of em. Then I typically use only a single apple.

i make juice, pour it into blender and then blend more stuff in there. anybody does that? or am i nuts?
for example today i juiced carrots & beets and then blended them with some greens.

Proteus, you are not nuts! I have been adding citrus juices to my green smoothies ever since I started drinking them. I hadn't thought of juicing veggies to go in them, I usually just add the whole veggies (cut up a bit of course) to the GS.

often i will juice the scraps of my pineapple, that contain a lot of hard skin, and add that juice to morning fruit smoothies.
mmm.... pineapple juice, one banana, strawberries, and frozen mango.
