I'm wanting to make some bread, crackers and chips and my dehydrator is one of the ones with small but still able to creep through holes in the trays. I'm curious if anyone has any ideas for trying to make breads and crackers, etc on these or any ideas on temporary sheets to try a first batch on.

My daughter uses parchment paper, which you can buy in supermarkets, and her cookies and crackers turn out just super, better than mine. You can also use waxed paper or aluminum foil, but I expect that the parchment paper would be the healthiest choice.

Parchment paper ... you can get it at your local grocery store.

But for the long run, invest in a few teflex sheets. Google them on the net to find the best buy.

I used to like the parchment paper better for some things as they dry faster. Can't keep it from krinkling up though s I finally bought non-stick sheets and am happy with them.
