Trying this raw food thing

Hello, my name is Seth Hall, I'm a 21 year old IT professional living in Northwest Arkansas. I'm new to this raw food lifestyle and just coming here to be able to ask questions, recipes, support, etc.

I'm making this change for health reasons, I'm obese and needing to make a change. So I decided to do this, I've been raw for three days and so far so good.

welcome seth !!! i too am in arkansas . it is rare to find raw foodies around the southern parts . good luck and it is possible to do this long term . i was a raw foodie for a year before i met my hubby and then after the birth of my daughter i picked it back up . she is now two and will be three in aug . so almost four years altogether . you can do it . visit a lot of farmers markets . little rock has some pretty awesome health food stores with some good raw choices for you . good luck .

Thanks everyone for the welcome. Cassie, I'm in the Bentonville/Rogers area so I plan on hitting up the farmers market once they one. So far I've been getting everything at Wal*Mart and plan on going to Whole Foods in Tulsa once a week to get anything else.
