I just found the most amazing burger recipe!! I had one every night last week! They are so yummy! Here is the recipe, I got this recipe from Brendan Brazier. For those of you that don't know who he is, he is a professional Ironman and Triathlete. Most of the foods that he eats is raw. He has a book out called Thrive The Began Nutrition Guide to Optimal Performance in Sports and Live. It is a 12 week program that I am starting. I have been doing all of his recipes raw, even though he says to heat them up in the oven for a short period of time. Anyway here is the "burger" recipe:

Almond Flaxseed Burger
2 cloves of garlic
1 cup of almonds
1/2 cup ground flaxseed
2tbsp balsamic vinegar
2tbsp coconut oil, or hemp oil
Sea salt to taste

Makes 2 burgers (I made 3)
Put all ingredients into a food processor. process until well blended. Process less if you prefer a coarser texture. You may eat them know, or I put them in the dehydrator for about 2 to 2.5 hrs. at 115 to heat them up. Enjoy!!:eat

If anyone tries them and likes them please let me know.

Yes!! Very good. I put one patty in the dehydrator for later, and am having the rest spooned into a napa cabbage leaf with chopped tomatoes on top. Yum:woohoo:

It does, but you don't really taste it. I have mine in the d also, and I just love how it smells!!

You are all welcome! I will post more when I try them. He has some pizza's that sound so good, I am waiting for some of the other ingredients to come in the mail, because unfortunatly I couldn't find all the ingredients that I needed. So I will post the ones that I like under this thread.

What a great idea!:cheer: I didn't even think to do that! I will have to try it. I do have to say that when I eat the burger I have to eat it on a bun, but Ihaven't been able to find any good raw buns that I like that don't take forever, so I do toast up some ezekial bread with raw ketchup on it. Very yummy!
