New Raw Foodie!!

Hi all!

I have been reading the forum threads and decided to join since I wanted to be part of such an awesome community of people:)

I live in an area (Beamsville, ON and Olean, NY) where being raw is not easy! I'm hoping that I will learn more so that I can increase my raw percentage in my diet. My husband is also NOT raw and loves his pizza and wings, among other things, so I find that a challenge in itself! Hope to meet some cool new people and learn more about being raw. So far I feel amazing and I already see results in my energy, well being and physical appearance.

YAAAAYYY!!!!! Welcome to the forum and the raw food world! You'll be dancing in circles around your husband and his pizza, feeling awesome!!! I remember visiting NYC and loving all the fresh juice bars. Are there any in your area? That would be nice, cuz there are NONE in Indy. Xcept maybe one. :)

Yep, that's what I do--dance :dread:circles around my non raw husband. I have tons and tons of energy--- we both get the same amount of sleep--yet he needs 1 or 2 naps a day and I don't need any naps. I get double the work he gets done in a day.

It is a challenge though to have a non raw person in the house. There are some tempting things around. But I love how I feel being raw and just remind myself of that.
