Ok so I'm on my 10th day of RAW. The first 6 days I felt like a completely different person. My 4 year old couldn't keep up with me. Now I feel like total poo :( Maybe I'm coming down with something because I can't see how I could have felt sooooooo good for almost a week and now this?!?!? Please tell me it goes away and if it does when?
I initially started this for weight loss but have now realized that I could care less what I weigh because when I feel good, it's AWESOME! We are going to Disney in April and the trip was a gift from my parents. All food was already paid for so I'm nervous about my diet down there. Any suggestions?

If you cannot avoid cooked food while on vacation, opt for the healthier choices. Salads/veggies/fruit dishes for lunch/dinner, you can bring things like nut butters for snacking. Vegan choices are second best to Raw IMO.
Don't fret about the awesome week feeling like you're going down hill. Are you having a lot of variety in your diet? I sometimes notice that i hit a plateau with certain foods and need to mix it up a bit. Your body may be trying to tell you you're missing some nutrients.
Detox comes at all stages. A lot of people get colds when they first start raw, I have my good and bad days still and I've been doing this for months now. So keep a straight head, and keep goin! Don't give up because you'll reap the benefits even if RIGHT IN THIS MOMENT, you don't feel it. :)

Agree with BlackKat. There's a chance you may be experiencing detox. As for your tirp...there's always salad. :)

Thanks for the advice. It just seems like such a waste to have paid $45.00 a day for food when all I'll be able to eat is salad and fruit. But, I don't want to go off raw. I ate a whole bag of spinach today and made sure to have more veggies than fruit. Feel a little bit better. I have noticed that I'm drinking almost 2 gallons of water a day.....WOW!

What's more of a waste? Spending $45.00 a day and eating food that will clog your system and make you feel dull and lifeless to make you feel like it was "money well spent" or choosing to eat light and healthy and feel much better for $45.00??
Remember it's just a vacation. You aren't going to ruin your life either way, but do what makes you happy and at the end of the day will give you the best trip you could possibly have. :)
Great job with gettin' that water. Sometimes those feeling sick/down days are because of dehydration. That was the leading cause of ALL my headaches when I first started this journey.

Going to Disney - WOW what fun ! Keep your focus where it needs to be on the fun you'll have with your son and family. As for the food, it will be the best tasting salad and fruit ! Remind yourself of how awful you felt after AD and how delichious smoothies, and raw food feels.
Detoxing is a blessing, out with the old, in with the new!

I'm doing some research on some rides and places we've never seen. Even though we go every 2 years it's amazing how many things I've missed. I'm planning my days already :) I got a hold of a "vegan" menu for all the restaurants. I'm sure that will help a lot. This is going to be the best vacation ever since I will be feeling good. Usually I'm tired and cranky from having my blood sugar spike and drop all the time. Just looking forward to spending time with my parents, my sis & her family and my family. I almost didn't live to make it so this makes it extra special. When one is walking around with all 4 main arteries to her heart blocked at 90% for over a year, the odds weren't that great for me.

It's great you caught the problem before you had a heart attack. And to go through all of this at such a young age!
I dodged a bullet as well six years ago when I had open heart surgery for a mitral valve repair (fortunately, I didn't need a valve replacement). I was only 41 and had no idea I had a problem. If hadn't had it repaired, I would have had congestive heart failure in just a few years. Just had an echo done yesterday and my heart looks great! And I haven't had to ever take meds, so that's a nice bonus!

I don't know how your prepaid food works.... but Disney has a lot better choices available there these days. If you can purchase from any of the food places at the park, then it won't be hard to spend your $45 on fruit, salads and drinks. The money won't go to waste... or waist.
If your voucher is good only in your hotel, basically the same goes. Just buy extra fruit to take with you and eat salads and cooked 'good choices' if you have to.
