Garbanzo bean question

I'm wanting to make some Hummus and I'm not sure whether I should use canned garbanzo beans? I found canned organic (which has a lot less salt than "name" brands) or should I buy the dried bean and soak them?

Canned...NOOOO! Canned are not Raw... And, they won't sprout... Go for the dry bean and soak/sprout it... :)

I know some people prefer the zucchini hummus, but we love the sprouted chickpea (garbanzo bean) hummus recipe from Alissa's book--mmm!
