Planning on getting back onto raw food nows tho. I had a bit of home trouble and i went out drinking with some of my friends. I've been eating nothing but cooked foods ever since last friday. I'm thinking the best way to get back into it is to go on a juice feast for at least 3 days. I think i need some advice this time round.

All I can afford is basic fruit and veg from the market and frankly I'm prepered to eat less simply to save money right now. Can someone suggest a juice feast for me?

Just forgive yourself and get back to the raw food!! I've done the same thing before since being raw--You can do this.

I have never done a juice feast-- I do drink green smoothies!

Hi James...

Since money is tight right now, why do a juice fast? Seems like juicing would be more expensive than just eating Raw... There's a question in LOLF where Alissa addresses what to do when you get off of the Lifestyle. You have to treat yourself as if you're starting out again. Make Raw food. Stay with fruits and veggies if you want since you have them.

I *SO* LOVE JUICE FASTING!!! Believe me! But when money is "funny" around here, I don't want to start something I can't finish, know what I mean? Eatiing less simply, to me, is the way to go.

You might also want to address the underlyiing issues at home that made you get off track. Then, think about how you will deal with them the next time, should they come up again. :)

As Alissa says, "You did it once, you can do it again"!!! :)

Please don't starve yourself James. You are more likely to get such strong cravings you will easily get tempted again. Bananas are always a winner. They go a long way for their cost. They kill sugar cravings and fill your stomach up nice and good.

Congrats! Hope you enjoyed every minute of it. :) Now that you've made the decision to get back on track and given your circumstances, I'd give the Master Cleanse a try. It cost me something ridiculous like $60 to be on it for ten days and it's a great way to press the reset button. Do some homework...start by reading a book on it. I recommend Tom Woloshyn's book.
