Hello! I have a question about where you all get your seeds to sprout? In Alissa's book she has some recipes that I want to try but I don't know where to go to get chick peas, barley, lentils, and I think that is it. Also if I buy the regular quoina can I then sprout them? Any help would be great! Thanks so much!

My local health food store carries all that you've listed. That might be a good place to check.

Our Costco also carries organic quinoa, we buy it there.

I order most of what you've listed throgh Azure Standard as they're cheaper (and I feel superior quality) to my health food store. *Ü*

Thank you so much. I have looked at two of my local health food stores and they don't have any. But I will try that place you mentioned. thank you again!

I just checked iHerb.com as we place a monthly order with them - and they have all that you're looking for as well. All organic, Arrowhead brand. They have both the green and red lentils. I happen to have the red lentils in my cart there for next order.

I've been ordering from iHerb for years and I can personally recommend them, I've never had a drop of trouble ordering from them. They're super fast (usually ship out same day) and if you place a minimum order of around $40 - shipping is free. *Ü*

I agree - their prices are really good! We order a lot of different items through them. I've recommended them to lots of friends and family and they're very happy ordering through them as well. I'm so glad it worked out for you! *Ü*

I wanted to ask you Deb, do you get a lot of recipes from YT? Do you just put in raw food recipes in the search bar? Do they provide the recipes or do you have to watch it and write down the ingredients as they go along?

Hi Becky ~ Every video subscription is different really... Some are really good about "spelling out" the ingredients, as in: 3/4 cup of flax seed, soaked overnight - that type of thing. I like exact measurements, so I really appreciate that. You can certainly search 'raw food recipes', or I have good luck searching for example 'kale salad' - and then look at all that pops up, you'll be able to find raw foodists that way too.

Some do include the recipe in the description below the video screen. Some have sites or blogs where the written recipe is.

I'm still learning new search terms. For example, I'm making my first ever batch of rejuvelac. So I typed that in and saw many more subscriptions I'd never seen before (or whatever it's called, someone who posts videos). I've been searching & watching YT videos for years and I'm still coming across new ones from 1-2 years ago.

Here are a few of my favorites: rubyvrom17 (has a blog - beautiful instructions & recipes written there), brittanybullen (you can find some of her written recipes on goneraw.com), dorothy7476 (she's my favorite!!), liferegenerator (he's different but I've learned more about juicing from him)... that's just a few, but will get you going!!

Let me know if I can help more with YouTubers - I subscribe to over 100. Not that I"m addicted or anything

How do you join? I have never really used YT so it is all new to me.

Deb, did you know that in Alissa's new book she has a recipe for the rejulavc and on the thread Alissa's new book with pictures, I think that is what it is called, Renee is making the rejulavc right now, and she has pics with it.

HI Becky ~ I saw Renee's post and I've ordered some rye berries from Azure Standard so that I can give it a try! I want to make some cheese from her book :)

Hmmm - it's been so long since I joined YT Becky, that I'm not sure what to tell you. Do you "have to" join to watch videos? Maybe you can simply watch them? But if you wanted to subscribe to a particular person, then maybe you have to join? I just don't know any longer... sorry! *Ü*
