Hi Guys!
I looked on Alissa's website first, but I didn't see her selling or advocating any kind of dehydrators.
I got her book "Living on Live Foods" the other day and I was surprised at how heavy it is! It's not exactly a book I can take with me to the local cafe, so I've been reading it at home. I'm not finished with it either.
I've been discussing with my mother about buying a dehydrator. Any suggestions on buying a good dehydrator?
Thanks!

I have and use a Nesco dehydrator, and you can add more trays. I've been making the "raw" crackers, so I'd really love to have an excalibur because of the square trays and I hear such good things about them.
The Nesco blows the air from the top down, and I don't have to rotate trays; and the Excalibur has the air from the back which I hear many people like. So decision is possibly about your budget and personal preference. If I could justify re-buying a dehydrator I think I'd choose the Excalibur 9-tray.
good luck in your decision
Here's another vote for the 9 tray Excalibur. Mine has the timer (optional) and I wouldn't want to be without it. Love my Excalibur! *Ü*

I like the Sedona 9 Tray Dehydrator by Tribest, even if I have right now a Biosec.
But in summer I will get the Sedona.

I have to agree with this recommendation! I loooove my Excalibur, too! The 9 tray is roomy enough for all of my Friday night frenzy food preparations :D and the timer is a wonderful and very convenient feature!!

I have the Good4U, which is the same style as the Excalibur. I would highly recommend either of them for their even heating and their large square trays, which are very helpful for crackers and breads.
And the best advice? Get the 9 or 10 tray. I started with the 5 tray and that fills up way too quickly.
