Bought juices a mostly pasteurized, if you buy the fruits veggies and greens yourself and prepare the drink yourself, than you know, what is inside of your green drink.

You can use a juicer and make green juice.
Or you can use a blender and make a green smoothie. mmmmmmm:D
Or you could buy a type of greens mix from the health food store and mix it into water. The only kind I've made like this is a spirulina green drink. I've seen a few different greens powder in the hfs, but I've only ever bought spirulina and chlorella.
I haven't made a green juice with my juicer that I really liked. And when I made em I would only use like 4-6 peices of greens or so. But when I've made green smoothies I really like their taste, and I use the entire bunch of greens when I make these. But that's just me, I'd prefer the gs, others really like green juice.

They are far from all the same, especially store-bought vs. fresh. As MadMex said, store-bought juices are pasteurized at the least. Make your own drink! Try a yummy fruit combination with a little bit of spinach and you won't even taste the green.

Plus making your own is loads of fun ! There are so many concoctions, it's endless.
Just search the recipe site, and other places on line and at bookstore.
Be sure to cut up greens very tiny if using a blender and add water.
Fruit is a great addition so the greens blended together are very tasty.
If you juice, add lemon juice, it really helps.
Have fun!
