I want to make rejuvelec - can someone tell me exactly how to sprout the wheatberries -
how much wheatberries 1/4 cup, handful ?
do I soak in a bowl or I have a tall jar.
how much soaking time and then how long to sprout before making the actual recipe.
Thanks
I make no secret of it - I *love* wathching Raw Food videos on YOuTube! One of my FAVORITE subscriptions is Dorothy. Just >today< she showed a rejuvelac video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=al1hDSAv6cQ). I hope it helps you out. It's got me wanting to try some!
I have learned SO much from Dorothy. And she's really good about answering all your questions, which is great! *Ü*

Thanks for the U Tube site - how exciting !
Oh, and thanks for the tip on sprouting sunflower seed after soaking - sounds like fun !
They sprout so easily! And I like the fact that it's boosting their nutrition. *Ü*

Started soaking my 'berries' tonight. this is sooo much fun!
I'll go start my sunflower seeds. Are they supposed to be in the shell or just the sunflower seed.

About the sunflower seeds - if you're wanting to have sunflower seeds that you can use in a recipe or munch on, then those would be out of the shell & raw. Then you could just follow the direction as given by Rene Oswald's video.
You can buy the seeds in the hull (preferably black oil seeds) and soak those if you intend to grow sunflower greens. But that's a different story, involves growing them in dirt...

Well, my rejuvelac is ready to drink - but how?
Do I ad a certain amount to other stuff or do I drink it straight.
I got two opposing styles - 1 oz a day the other 2 - 3 glasses a day.
And do I refrigerate it ?

Mine was ready yesterday! Alissa recommends adding Lemon to it... Or you can drink it straight...it up to you. It's Yummy that way!!! Also, i'm going to replace my regular water in Green Smoothies with the Rejuvelac. Also, I made Grezzo Cheese with it!!!
Yes, RFFE says to refrigerate... :)
My rye berries are arriving tomorrow and I'll make another batch using Alissa's recipe and then make some cheese!
The batch I made is pretty weak. 1/4 cup wheatberries to 4 cups water. I've been adding it to recipes and such. *Ü*
