Juicing with garlic or onions

I'm seeing some delicious juices on this forum that call for garlic or onions. Doesn't that make your juicer smell like garlic or onions? I'm concerned about the next batch of juice, even if I wash the parts carefully. tasting like garlic or onions.

Does simply washing the juicer parts get rid of the smells?

Yes, especially if you're juicing with greens. Can run a lemon through if you're concerned.

i've never had my next juice taste like onions or garlic and i literally make one juice with them and then next without.

all i do is rinse with water. :)
