Do we forget about counting calories or.....
when SAD, I ate betwn 1150 - 1300 depending on the day to maintain my weight.
How do I count a GS and everything else I eat?
Or do we not ?

Whether or not you continue to count is up to you, but not all calories are the same. It is pretty difficult to eat more than 1500 calories in a day on a raw diet (just because our foods are so bulky in general), so I think the majority of people don't worry about it.
However, a quick search on nutritiondata.com can give you a fairly accurate breakdown of your foods. :)

I think maybe you could decide how much to eat by your weight loss. Losing too fast? Consume more. Loosing too slowly? Consume less. It would work just as easily without all that tricky calorie counting.

I am a very small person (5 ft 2 and 110 lbs) and I find that I need to aim for 2000 calories to keep my weight up.
I miss it some days.

For the most part, you don't need to worry about it or consistently count calories. Just having an idea of the approximate range of calories for what works for your body type and lifestyle, can be helpful. Many don't realize how little they consume if they eat mostly veggies over fruit, for example. Or how much fat they consume and then wonder why they can't lose a few extra pounds. Usually on raw your body adjusts and you can easily figure this out yourself. It doesn't hurt to have the knowledge though. You count a GS by what the individual ingredients are and add them together. Example 4-Bananas 2 sm 1 med 1 lg 420, Hemp Seeds 1 Tbs 50 Chia Seeds 2 Tbs 78 Chlorella Powder 1 Tbs 63, greens 10 total=621.

Thank you, all.
I'll judge if I'm doing okay each week for a month and adjust. I'm used to doing that.
I was curious about counting calories since I heard about negative calories such as an apple, and that fruit passes thru our system, blah, blah, blah.
So didn't know if I wanted to count for a week just to see what I'm consuming each day was different then on SAD. My meals used to be around 300 - 350 with a 100c snack betwnthe meals. Now it seems with all the fruit we put (I put) in smoothies or salads it rises up alot.
I read that some people gubble up loads of avos or bananas a day, and it amazes me!
I like the feeling of not having my mind on my belly all the time because it is weighed down with raw food. I love smoothies, fruit, and salads. So whatever dressings I use, I'll just keep it simple.

Glad to hear you're not worrying about it.
As for negative calorie foods, they're basically a myth.

Thanks, Shels. I figured as much.
The only thing that will make it negative is exercise !
