Hi everyone,
Im Steven and Ive been interested in and partially raw for about a year now. It has been pretty much off and on for me, but always at least 60% raw. Over the past week I finally feel like it is time for me to try out being 100% raw again, as the last time I tried I failed miserably after about 2 months by getting too skinny and looking dead. Now I feel more prepared to face it and do it right, and hopefully succeed! :)

Glad to hear that you're back!
From what I hear, the drastic weight loss is a pretty common thing. It happened to me as well, but I only stayed super-thin for about three months. Maybe if you stick with it longer this time you'll bulk up again. ^-^
Good luck.

Yea, my main worry was because since I am a teenager my parents thought I was doing something wrong. And eventually I gave into cravings of cooked carbs, but now I realize I just wasn't eating enough fruit for calories/carbs.
Also, my main reason for inspiration would have to be that one of my teachers is raw vegan, and after spending a week with her on a school trip, I'm totally in the mind set of being 100% from now on! :D

Yep, this has been my winning formula too. Thoughts, cravings, temptations for cooked foods? It always means one has not had enough fruit. Hit the fruit hard and the dilemma is gone. Replacing the word craving with the word hunger has helped me too. The more hungry we get the more cooked foods become tempting because they are so palatable. As long as the mind knows this it can help you make the decision to choose fruit in these times of crisis.
Good luck.:)
