I'm just curious and excited to know....

How long after beginning a 100% raw transition can you experience new, unexpected benefits?

How long after beginning a 100% raw transition can you experience detox symptoms?

you can experience both immediately... or not. it's up to your body as to how and when you experience them. it's just one of those things... you gotta do to know.

but most people experience both pretty quickly. i know i did within days... literally.

Thanks Aleesha. But I didn't mean how SOON after but I meant how long for. I'm five weeks in and just as you said I was experiencing both within days. But now I am adjusting to the lifestyle, a lot of the symptoms are diminishing and I and am getting accustomed to the benefits. I want to keep getting detox symptoms and notice new benefits because it will reinforce why this way of life is so right for me. So I was wondering how long after one can still experience NEW benefits or could I already be done?

From what I've read you can experience healing crisises like detox as long as you have things to detox. And as far as new unexpected benefits when I went vegan years ago (I didn't even have to go raw) I noticed some skin growths and blemishes clearing up. Ever since then I have gotten no new skin blemishes and my old ones heal at a rate of about one a year. They swell up and it looks at first like they are getting worse. They might bleed a bit when the bump falls off then they heal up! You will always be detoxing and healing.

Of course, every body is different, but I would imagine that the more uncomfortable detoxing symptoms will be gone fairly soon if it's already been five weeks. :)
