Welcome welcome welcome!!!

Welcome to the 30 day challenge.

If you haven't already... please take a moment to read the posting rules/guidelines (http://www.rawfoodtalk.com/announcement.php?a=3) of this section. Thanks!

Welcome to the Monthly Raw Challenge!

We're excited about this new area of the forum that is specifically for those of you who are eager to commit to a month of eating 100% raw foods and seeing miraculous results!

WE (one of the moderators) will start a new challenge thread on the first of every month.

We want the focus of these monthly challenge threads to be on staying raw and accountability. Therefore, if you have eaten all raw and then slip up and have something cooked, we don’t want you to beat yourself up over it or dwell on it, but this is not space to discuss it. You are more than welcome to document it in your journal/blog or ask for help in the discussion area, but it is not necessary (and not allowed) to discuss your slip-up here in the challenge threads, just get right back on track and keep going!

In the event that you feel you are not quite ready to fully commit to the challenge and you find yourself having slip-ups often, then please join us again during the following month. Of course you are still more than welcome to participate on other parts of the forum, but we would really like to keep this section dedicated to those who are committed to doing 30 days 100% raw.

Peace, Blessings and Warmest Regards,

Cherie

Banana and cucumber and celery go sooo good together! Made a smoothie for breakfast and it was very tasty'

I don't have a set lunch time, I just take a bag of fruit and nuts to work, leave them in the fridge and then have a bit when I am hungry.

I had some blueberries, an avo with some salt and pepper and apple cider vinegar, a nectarine, and pecan nuts.

Dinner is going to be challenging, I am going to friends' house so I will take a big salad along, and try to be as incognito in eating my salad (and nothing else cooked) as possible!!

Ohh and I am so happy, this morning my husband said that he can see I have lost weight! I didn't think I had lost enough for anyone to see, and I don't have a scale,so that was such a motivator for me! xxx to my hubby!
Yippeee!

Have a happy raw day everyone!

Hmmmm, second try, first posting vanished!

Jeannie - congrats - what a great feling. It's wonderful your husband noticed. After all, we want to look great for our boyfriends!

Breakfast - GS with collard greens, apples, berries

Lunch loved the carrot salad yesterday, will make it again.

Dinner a big salad - I added mango to it, and it was delicious. I hope using apple cidar vinegar a few times a week is okay for my inners. I love the taste.

A few clementines inbetween for my blood sugar and they taste good.

So far today only 1 banana and 40 oz of water. For some reason I am not hungry and have very low energy. :(

In the event I get hungry later, I brought with me to work another monster salad, more bananas, grapes, and water melon chunks.

But my tummy feels a little full and yucky so I will listen closely to my body and eat what feels right.

So far today I've had my Green Smoothie and a bowl of cherries (love cherries!)

I may do a repeat of yesterday's lunch which was a pickled theme. I had a couple of pickles, olives, sauerkraut, some of my julienned salad on baby bell peppers and a small amount of the herb grezzo cheese I made on baby bells. It was tasty.

Planning on making some zucchini pasta for dinner...I have one that needs eating.

I made some plain slaw but need to figure out some kind of mayo for it....... I'm at work so it looks like I'll finish my day off with a green smoothie. I usually prefer savory at night but that's okay. I'm doing great!

Hi Everyone! Day 84!!
My skin is healing!! No new breakouts, scars diminishing, I've had the glow for a while but was so distracted by the breakouts that I hardly paid attention, now I really see it! I think it took so long because I had some deep healing taking place which was detoxing through my skin. So it got worse before it got better, but here I am 84 days later, seeing a truly remarkable difference. :)

I was just looking at the calendar, on the 29th of this month I go to mexico for a week long retreat, raw food included (yum!). The day I leave will be day 100! What an awesome way to celebrate!!

Today I enjoyed;
32oz lemon water
B- green juice
L- GS-- spinach, pear, mint
s- the best pear ever!
D- 2 apples with almond butter & nibs (YUMMY!)
s- another best pear ever
lots more water before bed

Tomorrow is Friday!

Artist- Welcome back home...

Light & Love to all
