newbie dehydrator question..

i see a lot of recipes where i put large items into my dehydrator (like lasagna or other pasta dishes) now my dehydrator has trays, with little room from bottom of one tray to top of the next. Is there some sort of add on i need to buy for my dehydrator so that i can fit larger items? Or am i supposed to make these dishes thin enough to fit onto the trays i already have.

remove a few trays and use a dish!

when i make raw chili i put it in a pottery dish on the bottom tray of my dehydrator. i simply remove the rest of the trays!
