pecans

Where I come from pecans are abundent, and 100% raw, how can I use them? Most recipes want almonds or cashews....can I sub with pecans?

Depends on the recipe. I often sub pecans for walnuts or almonds. Works in desserts and burgers. Might work in pates, too. Seems like pecans would make a flavorful nut milk. I'll have to try that. Lucky you having access to an adundance of pecans.

I love to munch on pecans straight out of the freezer or candied (soaked, sweetened, and dehydrated).
