I'm beginning week three of a 100% raw food diet (fruit, veg, raw proteins & supplements)
I haven't altered anything but I'm noticing a drop in appetite. I even have some tiny dizzy spells although no hunger is signalled. Has anybody else experienced this? Is it part of detoxing? Did it pass? Did you have to consciously up your intake? All opinions welcome. TIA

I had been off and on but this week I have been 100% and I had the worst headache and out of it spells yesterday. I almost fell asleep driving home a few times and don't even remember driving into the parking lot and noticed I was at the tennis courts and didn't remember driving in to the main entrance. I was so tired I slept 17 hours when I got home. So, I also experienced the dizziness thing. I have been so tired..........it is getting better, but oh my god!! I have not really been hungry and haven't been eating so much either.
I read up on detoxing and it seems like all those, including my bathroom runs, are all common. So, I am hoping all this is worth it! I have had about half of the symptoms listed in the cut and paste below.
Common Detox Symptoms
Here is a short list of possible detox symptoms to help you recognize detox when it happens.
Skin breakouts
Bloating, stomach pains
Headaches
Food cravings
Trouble sleeping, nightmares
Diarrhea and constipation
Fatigue, drowsiness, low energy levels
Irritability
Congestion or Mucus that feels like a cold

Hi,
Now might be a good time to juice feast. Even for a day or two. It will flood your body with nutrients, keep your blood sugars up (cause of dizziness) and help the detox along!

I experience drops in appetite a lot. I do not think you should stuff yourself if your body is not asking for it.
the dizziness thing is not something I can answer for you, but for me, when I am not hungry, i don't eat. Maybe I will just drink juice or coconut water or lemon water. maybe if you try fasting, your appetite will return? after a while of fasting, for me, my appetite returns... *shrugs*

Thank you. I think a juice fast would be a good idea.
