I have already done buckwheat which is delich with raw almond milk and the pulp, raisins, cinn, And I already have had steel cut oats.
Now I have barley flakes and spelt flakes.
Do I need to soak them over night. It looks like I could soak in AM before I leave home and it would be ready for lunchtime (I only have green smoothie, and fruit until lunchtime). Or is it less time?

Any interesting recipies are welcome!

Well, I'll answer myself incase anyone is wondering (since no one answered)-
I played it by ear and soaked them for approx 2 hrs (give or take).
I added cashew milk and some soaked cashews left whole (wow- I never liked cashews before this - now I ove them -totally different taste and texture), soaked raisins, cinn, agave. I forgot about coconut but I'll bet that would have been fun to add. It was really good ! This could go on top of chopped apple with some made into an almost applesauce. I felt like I was eating crumble!!
I probably will experiment with soaking them less time and continue checking until desired softness.
