View Full Version : Making Tortilla Soft Taco Wraps?

Anyone know how to make soft taco wraps? No corn, none of that. I had ordered some great ones online, that had ground flax and irish moss etc, they were just like soft tacos, raw, but I wonder how to make them>? Anyone know? Is it the amount of oil you had that makes them flat and not harden and get stick and solid. These were like super pliable.????

You can make the wraps in Alissa Cohen's books (or the tortillas, but don't let them dry until hard). I have also had good experiences with zucchini wraps based on Russell James's samosa wrappers. You can find the recipe on his web site:
I leave out the lime juice and spices for regular wraps and have made these variations:
For desserts, with sweeteners added:
For a softer wrap, reduce the amount of flax meal. I have even omitted the flax entirely for a really smooth soft wrap. These wraps are very flexible and are a great way to preserve a bountiful zucchini harvest!
