Hello! I am planning on doing a fast the beginning of the year, and I was wondering if I should stop running while I am doing the fast? Also how about strength training? I am thinking that I am going to be doing the master cleanse. Thanks!

Do what YOU feel to do! or.. Do what you FEEL to do!

depends on your focus.
do you want your body to use it's energy for exercise?
do you want your body to use it's energy for cleansing and healing?
cause there's often not enough for both... so once you set your priorities... then you can attain them.
if you want to continue exercise, there's no problem with that but your healing will be lessened.
if you want more healing AND exercise, then make sure you don't do too much exercise so you still have energy for healing.
if you want deeper healing... then keep your exercise low...

Thank you both! That will give me something to ponder on while I am running tomorrow morning....i do my best thinking then. It is quiet, noone on the road but me, and I can think so well!

That's when I get my best ideas too ~ well, out on the road and in the shower. I carry a little digital recorder with me in case I forget stuffs too.

I'm on my third MC and I'm running 10k every three days. My runs are...no kidding...euphoric!!! I feel unbelievable and have spare energy to burn. I am staying off weights because obviously there is no protein intake on the MC.
I should note that I didn't work out during my first and second MC. Each one is different. I had healing crises and detox symptoms on my first and second ones and the thought didn't even cross my mind to exercise. I was much cleaner going into my third one so I've had no healing crisis and no detox...just lots of energy and mental clarity. Listen to your body. :)
