Hello everyone!
I'm new to the Raw Food, but reading a lot.
My story is a little sad - over 1,5 year of back pain. The doctors couldn't heal me and they proposed operation. I searched the internet for alternatives and got partially cured (still can't walk outside house). Then by accident I found article about b17, then about Gerson's therapy and the FoodMatters video.
I realised, that I'm too young to have problems with health. I'm 26! And last 5-6 years I was a very poor eater - mostly because lack of money when I was studying - i used to starve sometimes :(
I tried to talk about the foods with my family or sick people (diabetes), but they all laughed at me. Even if we have in our family a kid with asthma. She is only 2!
I don't know, why people are so agressive these days - even, when you mention homeschooling, they all got mad "You are not normal, eating grass like a cow and harming the future children"
So - with my boyfriend we are starting Raw (he has symptomes of diabetes, but don't want to go to the doctor, heart problems, liver problems, always tired, problems with tommy and a very bad diet - fast foods, this red bull drinks, crisps, popcorn from microwave, chineese soups (ramen) - this is going to be ended :) )
I'll write in a month, how are we doing, and we are going to the doctor to have blood tested.

Little Wolf....I wish you much success in your efforts to change your diet and change your life. I hope you stay strong against the comments you will endure from well-meaning family and friends. This is a defensive mechanism on their part because what you are doing is threatening to them.

I have personally experienced healing by changing my diet over the years and now I am convinced that a poor diet deficit in nutrients is the cause of may diseases. Also, your emotional health contributes as well.

Little Wolf,

These sick people who say you are silly or mad, they do not understand where you are coming from. A crazy person does the same things over and over, expecting a different result. I wish good health to you and your boyfriend!

:-D

My boyfriend had to quit raw - severe kidney pain - he got all panic - afraid of the detox. He want to do it more slowly - now he's having only one salad a day, few apples/bananas/oranges. The rest is vege cooked + some dairy.

I'm still holding my fruits and salads (don't have a blender)

Was it definitely kidney pain? I had lower back pain for two days. I suspected my kidneys but I think it was just my colon. It passed and never came back. :)

Do the best that you can. Can you get a blender. Green smoothies are great.
I think that we would all recommend that you encourage your boyfriend to stop taking dairy as that is very harmful and may actually be the cause of his problems instead. If he needs to have something dense then get some seeds or a few nuts (soak them first) and use those instead.

Hi. Does anyone have experience with how to get a girl to like you (http://www.rackupdates.com)?

My boyfriend felt acute pain and started to panic. It came with headache and liver pain. I think we started too quickly - only raw, clean water, no cosmetics lots of juicy fruits and greens. I had 3-day headache - crisis. His crisis started just BAD :(
Can't eliminate dairy - he is addicted to feta cheese - with salads

Oh, I forgot - there is a blog "a little spinach" - about healthy foods - great smoothies :D

I'm on raw about 2 weeks - I discovered, that my cat allergy is dissapearing from my face!!! :D
(a vet allergic to her cat - ironic)

I'll buy a blender next month - don't have $ this month.

I agree about the back pain. You don't really need a blender. Fresh fruit is good by itself. Salad is good too, and it's nice to chew :-)
