i was just wondering if anybody here has done a 100% raw pregnancy. If you have what were your experiences during pregnancy and labor. (Please dont refer me to jinjee at the garden diet. I have her e-books so I have already read those! Thanks! ;) ) My first baby I was 85% raw. The pregnancy was relatively easy and labor was 6 hours with 3 1/2 hours of pushing.

Currently I eat 100% raw 6 days per week and then some cooked on the 7th day of the week. Will bumping it up to 100% raw all of the time really make any difference in the pregnancy or labor? any thoughts?

Thanks to anybody who replies!!!

Ariella :)

Hi Arriela,

Welcome to this board!
I don't know anything about pregnancies, don't have babies yet, but Shazzie did have a baby a couple of months ago, check out her website: http://www.shazzie.com I don't know if she was 100% raw during her whole pregnancy, but she did write in her journal, which you can read on her site, have fun!

See you around! :)

Thanks - I have read Shazzie site throughout her pregnancy. She really did not talk much about it, but afterwards she said she was only about 85% which is what I did with my first pregnancy. She didn't want people to ask her questions about it, she just wanted to be left alone to "nest" and then she ended up having a c-section - which is fine - but doesn't help me to know if shorter labors and pushing are really true with all 100% raw pregnancies :)

Thanks for trying though! Hopefully somebody else will have experienced this and will not mind sharing :)
